Romania imports workers from Pakistan

Romania has finally started to hire workers from Pakistan in order to help the labor force deficit in fields like textile industry and constructions, according to The Post daily in Pakistan.

The 40 workers from Pakistan to get to Romania are to work for a company in Resita, says Mian Sanaullah, the Pakistan ambassador to Romania. He has mentioned Romania is faced with a increasing deficit of qualified labor force such as engineers, for example.

Bucharest is now interested in importing technical staff, engineers and drivers from China, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, since no deal has succeeded with neighbor states like Ukraine, the Moldovan Republic or Serbia. (C.S.)
