Ion Iliescu's withdrawal and the end of the 'past'
Suppose Ion Iliescu's decision to withdraw from politics is sincere and 'compulsory'. If so, we need an analysis of the Iliescu era, a brief, still a thorough one.

OSCE advises Romanian President not to promulgate "good and bad news" law
The President of Romania Traia Basescu should not promulgate the law draft passed by the Romanian Senate, which would demand radio and television stations to make sure they cast the same amount of negative and positive news.
