The NATO dissolution
The dispute on the accession of Ukraine and Georgia to NATO or more exactly the opposition of France and Germany to such a project is just a symptom of the disease NATO has caught. The Bucharest summit may be just the beginning of the end of the alliance that has seen to the security of the West from 1949 up to now. Unfortunately, the success or failure of the summit due in April doesn't consist in the number of participants.

Romania is ready to send more troops to Afghanistan
The Romanian defense minister Teodor Melescanu has mentioned that, in case of a political decision reached by NATO and the Romanian officials, the Ministry is ready to send more troops to Afghanistan, still a limited number because of the resources, the financial ones included.
The minister adds that, in case of request, Romania can also take part in training missions, meaning a group of some 10-20 people would be sent.

Liviu Negotita has been selected to head the electoral campaign of Vasile Blaga, the PD-L (Democrat-Liberal Party) candidate to run in the Bucharest mayor election.
