Interesant, casa alba si-a schimbat pozitia despre rolul jucat de el in tragedia de la 11 sept. Asa ca nu cred sa mai fie necesar sa-l mai scoata dintre cele patru scinduri.

Dupa cite afirma madam Perino, cel care este direct responsabil, "creierul" este Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, in inchisoare deja. Rolul lui OBL se pare ca a fost "doar" sa "ceara" stabilirea planurilor si executarea lor.

Q Well, what, in this White House's opinion -- what was the role of Osama bin Laden, then, for 9/11?

MS. PERINO: Well, obviously, as the leader of al Qaeda, he is somebody that we want to bring to justice. He was the one that asked his deputies to plot and plan and carry out attacks. And that's why we've been aggressively going after them, as well.

Corect d-le Dorin , KSM este " arhitectul ", dupa o idee a nepotului sau , Ramzi Yousef , artizanul atentatului din 1993 . Cind unul din atentarorii ce fusesera capturati a fost transportat cu elicopterul , zburind deasupra NY , unul din agentii FBI ce-l insoteau a comentat aratind spre Turnuri : Vezi , sint inca acolo !
Raspunsul atentatorului : Data viitoare vom folosi avioane !
KSM a prezentat lui OBL ideea planului . Acesta a fost incintat si a ales personal echipa de sacrificiu ( exista si filme facute ce-l prezinta pe OBL cu unii din atentatori ) cit si obiectivele si data atacului . Fondurile ( infime , citeva sute de mii de $ ) au fost furnizate de AQ . Din pacate , OBL si restul celor din vechea conducere ( mullahul Omar , Al Zawahiri etc ) se ascund in Waziristan , o regiune muntoasa cit Romania de mare , la granita dintre Pakistan si Afganistan . Trupele americane nu pot patrunde in zona din pricina opozitiei guvernului pakistanez ( pina si " lacheul " Musharaf s-a opus cererilor americane ) . Zona este controlata de triburi care nu asculta de autoritatile de la Islamabad . Au loc frecvent conflicte intre autoritati si populatia locala . Zona este un fief al talibanilor care se retrag peste frontiera cind sint urmariti de trupele NATO . Acolo OBL si oamenii lui pot sta linistiti . Atita timp cit sefii de trib ii protejeaza , americanii nu pot face mare lucru . Decit sa trimita drone peste frontiera afgano-pakistaneza , fara prea mari rezultate .
Procesul lui KSM , nepotul sau si a altor complici va incepe in curind ( a luat mult timp adoptarea unei noi legislatii juridice pentru tratarea acestor delicte ).
KSM si-a recunoscut faptele si a cerut sa fi tratat ca prizonier de razboi !
Spera astfel sa-si salveze viata !
