The latest INSOMAR poll has it that only 46% of the Bucharest inhabitants will go voting in the local elections due next Sunday.
As for the odds of candidates running in the Bucharest general mayor elections, independent Sorin Oprescu is top of the list (32%), followed by Democrat-Liberal Vasile Blaga (29%), Liberal Ludovic Orban (13%), Social-Democrat Cristian Diaconescu (105) and Cozmin Gusa, a leader of the National Initiative Party (6%).
As far as the political parties are concerned, things looks as follows: 34% for the PD-L (Democrat-Liberal Party), 25% for the PSD (Social-Democrat Party), 17% for the PNL (National Liberal Party), 7% for "another party", 5% for the PIN (National Initiative Party) and 4% for the PNG (New Generation Party).
