The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentions by press release that the event is part of the agenda on frequent political contacts between Romania and Italy. The two ministers are going to sign an updated Common Declaration of Romanian and Italian foreign ministers on the consolidated Romanian-Italian strategic partnership, now 10 years old. In the press release there is also specified that the document defines the main points for the future Romanian-Italian bilateral relations, emphasizing the consolidation of Romanian-Italian collaboration within the EU, as well as at regional and international level.
Minister Massimo D'Alema is also going to meet with the Romanian PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu. (D.E.)
