President of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin, accuses again Romania, in an uninterrupted fire, of trying to eliminate the ex-Soviet Republic, by demeaning its language and culture and offering Romanian citizenship massively to Moldovans. "Throughout the 20th century, Romania had a constant interest in our land, our territory. Because of that interest, they are now pursuing a nationalist and unionist policy. An intervention is under way against Moldova's statehood, its people, history and language", said the leader in Chishinau in an interview for Reuters and quoted by Mediafax.(L.P.)
