The report of the Committee regarding the suspension of the head of State was sent on Thursday to President Traian Basescu, the document being submitted the same day to the Constitutional Court, vice-chairman of the Committee, Doru Ioan Taracila (PSD - Social-Democrat Party) said yesterday. He stated that the Report was sent to president Basescu by the two chairpersons of the Parliament, following a request made in this respect by the head of State. Taracila added that around 9.00 hrs, on Thursday morning, the administration of the two parliamentary chambers received a request, signed by Traian Basescu, asking that the Report of the Committee is sent to the presidency as well.(R.G.)
