The IWA 2007, over one week ago, brought remarkable new hunting guns. Krieghoff Company displayed the Semprio gun: a rifle with a very rapid firing system, allowing 4 shots in 4 seconds. Umarex Company brought the new Magnum Desert Eagle RAM, a half machine kick gun with 43 calibre bullets. The Steyr Mannlicher Company from Austria presented to the more than 70 journalists there the Mannlicher Luxus Take Down rifle, unique as maneuverability, allowing automatic loading without losing the aiming. Apart from the well-known products, Blaser Company displayed 3 versions of lise bock arms with 76 cm barrels and a shooting selector, a new version of carbine with half-automate bolt. The company also fetched a golden carbine for the curiosity shop.
This year's fair was the most successful IWA event. It was the first time it managed to attract exhibitors from almost 50 states and an impressing number of visitors: 30,000, which is 12% more that last year. The event succeeded in spurring the industry in the field, just as it took the international press by surprise due to a much improved organization and the relaxed atmosphere.
It was the most complex IWA exhibition, sheltering about 1,000 stalls in a modern display, with companies presenting some world innovations in both hunting arms and optics industry.
