"Elephants" against the press

The guards employed by Constantin Margarit, one of the VGB shareowners, beat four journalists. The policemen trying to discover the aggressors were also aggressed. One of the victims was stabbed had his mandible broken. The Police is claiming not too convincingly that "there is a connection between Constantin Margarit and the aggressors, but for the time being we cannot tell it for sure". The crime was committed just in the same way used when ZIUA journalists were left with no cameras and the reporters working for "Evenimentul Zilei" were intimidated. BRONEC, the same security company, participated at the aggression on journalists. VGB gorillas had used the same kid of car for supervising the restaurant where their boss was having fun together with gypsy music players. One of the victims stated: "Half of those who aggressed us were gypsies." The Police helped the criminal run away and only afterwards "started research". But they just forgot to register one victim. Prosecutors and policemen are trying to change the juridical categorizing of the guilty, accusing them of theft instead of aggression. The complicity of authorities is rooted in the connections VGB has got to local Police rulers. Marian Saniuta, Minister of Administration and Internal Affairs, has asked for full information on the case and on the investigation.
