The PC (Conservative Party) deputy Sergiu Andon, also the lawyer of the PC president Dan Voiculescu, asked the CNSAS (National Council for Research on the Communist Secret Service Archive) yesterday to provide him with the recorded questionings of Dan Voiculescu. Although he had told the press he had something sensational, Andon wrote just a request to the CNSAS. He explained Dan Voiculescu had been recorded in 2003 and in 2006 as well, without consenting to it.

Andon kept on claiming that the statement of CNSAS member Mircea Dinescu, according to which the recorded questionings of Dan Voiculescu would be available, was blackmail. The lawyer insisted: "My client and me have got the right to get these audio and video recordings, since Mircea Dinescu says they will release them. Since he has got the right to get material from the CNSAS, we have got this right too. We will use them for complaining against the decision."

More critique against the CNSAS

Andon expressed more critique against the CNSAS, still without producing any evidence. He kept on saying agent "Dominic" had had successful business right after the Revolution in 1989 and that he might be still active. He didn't manage to bring any proves. He only mentioned he had information on this controversial character (...)

When asked if he had to provide the CNSAS with the information he had on "Dominic", Andon answered: "The information no, the documents yes." (...) He boasted everything would be unveiled, but at the right time. (...)
