Romanians queue to get a life
Almost 2,000 Romanians are on wait lists for an organ transplant. The number of donors, although improving in the latest years, is still insufficient. Another 350 Romanians joined the wait list last year as they pursue transplants of kidney, liver, heart, lungs or pancreas.

Romanian PM doesn't fear international financial crisis
The Romanian PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu stated yesterday that he didn't fear the financial crisis in the US and Europe or the dollar collapse. He argued that he was instead preoccupied with the transport and communication infrastructure not fit for Romania's speedy economy growth: "Personally, I don't feel much fear about the evolution of the international financial crisis, of this turbulence, as it is euphemistically called."
