Stop Gabriel!
The European Union is concerned about the Rosia Montana project. All community documents on Romania have mentioned the latter. The European Parliament's latest report on Romania's progress also invoked it.

Tariceanu replies to Stolojan
PNL (the National Liberal party) president Calin Popescu Tariceanu recommends that ex Liberal leader Theodor Stolojan should also come up with suggestions when criticizing the attitude of present party rulers. Tariceanu said yesterday: "When you stay at a distance it is certainly easy to criticize." Rompres says Tariceanu also mentioned: "We all would be interested to hear Mr. Stolojan's suggestions."

Romanians thinks beating children is useful
A survey titled "Parental Knowledge, Attitude and Practices in Romania" shows that Romanian parents are in the habit of subjecting their children to physical punishment. It goes for children of all ages and it is thought to be a disciplinary measure. Such attitude is much influenced by the old-fashioned minds of parents who disregard children's rights. Education employees go back to work
62-66% of education employees decided to put up with the government's last proposal and end the strike that started on November 7. After the last talks on Sunday the leaders of the four education unions sent the new version of the agreement with the government to the territory for analysis.
