Anti-Semitism (alternatively spelled antisemitism) is hostility toward or prejudice against Jews as a religious, ethnic, or racial group, which can range from individual hatred to institutionalized, violent persecution. The highly explicit ideology of Adolf Hitler's Nazism was the most extreme example of this phenomenon, leading to a genocide of the European Jewry. Anti-Semitism takes different forms:

Religious anti-Semitism, or anti-Judaism. Before the 19th century, most anti-Semitism was primarily religious in nature, based on Christian or Islamic interactions with and interpretations of Judaism. Since Judaism was generally the largest minority religion in Christian Europe and much of the Islamic world, Jews were often the primary targets of religiously-motivated violence and persecution from Christian and, to a lesser degree, Islamic rulers. Unlike anti-Semitism in general, this form of prejudice is directed at the religion itself, and so generally does not affect those of Jewish ancestry who have converted to another religion, although the case of Conversos in Spain was a notable exception. Laws banning Jewish religious practices may be rooted in religious anti-Semitism, as were the expulsions of Jews that happened throughout the Middle Ages.
Racial anti-Semitism. With its origins in the early and popularly misunderstood evolutionary ideas of race that started during the Enlightenment, racial anti-Semitism became the dominant form of anti-Semitism from the late 19th century through today. Racial anti-Semitism replaced the hatred of Judaism as a religion with the idea that the Jews themselves were a racially distinct group, regardless of their religious practice, and that they were inferior or worthy of animosity. With the rise of racial anti-Semitism, conspiracy theories about Jewish plots in which Jews were somehow acting in concert to dominate the world became a popular form of anti-Semitic expression.


New anti-Semitism. Many analysts and Jewish groups believe there is a distinctly new form of late 20th century anti-Semitism, called the New anti-Semitism, which is associated with the Left, rather than the Right, borrowing language and concepts from anti-Zionism.[1] [2] [3] [4] Some of these analysts identify anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism, arguing that anti-Zionism "advocates denial of the right to self-determination of the Jewish people."[5]


New anti-Semitism is the concept of an international resurgence of anti-Jewish incidents and attacks on Jewish symbols, as well as the acceptance of anti-Semitic beliefs and their expression in public discourse, which is held to be associated with certain left-wing political views. The adjective "new" is used to distinguish this form of anti-Semitism from the older, usually right-wing form. The term was used as early as 1974, but entered common usage to refer to a wave of anti-Semitism that escalated, particularly in Western Europe, after the Second Intifada in 2000, the failure of the Oslo accords, and the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington, DC. Proponents of the concept argue that anti-Americanism, anti-Zionism, and opposition to the policies of the government of Israel are either coupled with anti-Semitism or disguised anti-Semitism. [

Amandoua versiuni sant "tari". Daca o citeai pe a ta mai adanc (valabil pentru toti cei trei...m..) ajungeati la concluzia ca, critica la adresa politicii de la Tel Aviv, nu-i antisemitism. Chestie pe care o uitati de fiecare data in postarile voastre (mai ales cele venite din Israel si-n situatii incomode pentru ei).

Pentru Bostan: ramane ca ieri...eu credeam ca bostanii se coc in august.

Pentru california: cam nimic. De obicei esti fara haz si fara continut. In rest, toate bune, la vara mergem la mare,...

Scurt ghid pentru Tesu & Comp de la Ziua despre armata israeliana

Iata un scurt ghid pentru a pune la punct terminologia militara de care va folositzi.

Urmatoarele date se refera la fortzele de infanterie ale armatei israeliene:

a. Cea mai mica unitate de soldatzi este grupa (in ebraica kita adica clasa) alcatuita din 7-10 oameni. Grupa este condusa de obicei de un caporal (Comandant de clasa = Mem-Kaf).

b. 3-4 grupe formeaza un pluton (Mahlaka) de 20 - 30 de soldatzi condus de un locotenent (Seghen) ajutat de un sergent (samal).

c. 3- 4 plutoane formeaza o companie (Pluga) de 100 - 150 de soldatzi condusa de un capitan (seren) care are secundant un locotenent.

d. 3 - 4 companii formeaza un batalion (Gdud) de 300-400 de soldatzi condus de un locotenent-colonel (sgan-aluf) secundat de un maior (rav-seren).

e. 3 - 4 batalioane formeaza un regiment (hativa) de 1000 - 1500 de oameni condus de un colonel (aluf-mishne) secundat dat de un locotenet-colonel .

f. 3-4 regimente formeaza o brigada (Ugda) de 4000 - 5000 de soldatzi condusa de un general-brigadier (Tat-Aluf) secundat de un colonel.

g. Cateva brigazi formeaza o divizie (Utzba) de 10000 - 15000 de soldatzi condusa de un general-maior (Aluf) secundat de un general de brigada.

h. Diviziile sant organizate in corp (gais) condus de un general - maior.

i. Seful Marelui Stat Major este general-locotenent (rav-aluf) singurul cu acest grad in armata activa.

Brigada poate contzine diverse feluri de regimente sau batalioane (de exemplu, o brigada de infanterie poate sa aiba si baterii de artilerie). iar pe viitor in urma restructurarii armatei va avea chiar si fortze aeriene (s-ar putea ca chiar si regimentele sa primeasca fortze aeriene integrale mici ca de exemplu 1-2 avioane fara pilot).
