The KVB Economic SRL, a company established in 2005, has got shareowners like the ex environment minister Sulfina Barbu and the ex head of the Environment Guard Silvian Ionescu, together with more members of the PD (Democrat Party). The company's profile is environment consulting.
As officials in the Ministry of Environment, Sulfina Barbu and Silvian Ionescu cashed huge funds by contracts signed with Democrat mayors of Romanian localities. 75,000 Euro came from the budget of Targu Neamt, the ex minister's native locality. The same company got almost 1 million Euro from 14 projects. Romanian villages contributed too: the village of Marculesti fueled 1,6 billion ROL to the minister's company for a project on the "sewerage system and water supply development".
Social-Democrat Marian Vanghelie, a Social-Democrat mayor of Bucharest district 5, claims he has got evidence that the KVB Economic SRL is involved in the Bordei Park affair and the company got funds from businessman Costica Constanda.
And one more 'achievement' of the company: the decision that to deforest 20 hectares in Baneasa Forest in order to make room for a villa quarter is benefic to the environment. (...) (M.T.)
