Premier for Romanians The Euro-elections taking place this Sunday are a premier for Romanians after the country's accession to the EU. This is the first time Romanians are choosing their own representatives for the Parliament of Europe. The Euro-deputies to be elected will get a mandate lasting just one year and a half and in 2009 Romanians are to elect representatives for the Parliament of Europe again and the election is to take place at the same time it occurs in the other EU states. Romanians with a right to vote must have their identity cards or passports on them when going to the polling stations to vote on Sunday. (...) (R.A., O.B.)
