Provider of sex-slaves
-- The European flesh trafficking market keeps on diversifying and Romania continues to be one of the countries providing 'slaves'. According to the International Organization for Migration, Ukraine, Belorussia and the Moldovan Republic are the main providers and Romania and Bulgaria follow next.
The research accomplished by IOM claims that flesh traffickers force young women and underage ones to take up prostitution, just as they force many into becoming beggars.
Experts estimate that the 5 countries mentioned above have provided at least 225 thousand people for the market and trade with sex-slaves in these country has been continually growing. The organization opines Ukraine, Belorussia and the Moldovan Republic don't approach the fight against organized crime, corruption and trafficking in human flesh properly, although the latter cause illegal immigration and slavery to develop.
