ZIUA has reached a spokesman for the Defense Ministry in Britain, who has said that ever since Tuesday British authorities have been analyzing a solicitation from Bucharest officials on the declassification of the contract on the two British frigates Romania bought from Britain. The official has confirmed having received yesterday a letter from the sales manager of Romtehnica, on behalf of the Ministry of Defense in Romanian, requesting British authorities to declassify the contract. He has explained the latter is very long and full of details and this is why the analysis will take some time. (A.M.L.)
