It is the end of wars, the end of death and the defeat of the Devil. (...) The passion of Christ shows no weakness, no humiliating defeat, no dishonesty, but only greatness and power that exhausted man's enemy, the Devil, for good. (...) He, the Sinless, took our place and tasted the unbearable bitterness of the most unrelenting punishment sin can have: death. (...) My beloved Christian bothers and sisters, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, embodied our human nature -crucified, resurrected and then next to the Heavenly Father - and learnt perfect obedience because God wished so. He paid the price, but also got eternal reward. (...) In Creation, just like in our lives, there is no event God does not know about. When disorder emerges, the faces of the visible world become transient. We should always confess this truth and trust God, who brings hope." (...)
