As three days have passed since Democrat leader Emil Boc made a proposal, the Liberals have come up with a different offer for the two parties' fusion. 16 local organizations of PNL (the National Liberal Party) have expressed common conditions to the unification of PNL and PD (the Democrat Party). They all want the Liberal Party to have the same name and doctrine and are against affiliation to the EPP (the European People's Party). What the 16 organizations actually want is PD assimilated by PNL, which is exactly the opposite of what the Democrats proposed. (...) (A.M.)
