PSD (the Social-Democrat Party) is thinking about starting parliamentary motion against the set of health reform laws, if minister Eugen Nicolaescu takes responsibility on this set in front of MPs." Ex Social Democrat minister of health Ovidiu Branzan explained yesterday: "We will probably come with simple motion against the present state of things in the field of health. If Tariceanu's Cabinet insists and takes responsibility for the health reform laws, we will come with parliamentary motion." Branzan criticized the reform laws Nicolescu initiated, claiming this initiative was actually meant to impress citizens. Branzan opined that laws had been hastily elaborated and they restrained the role of the state in the health system, but they didn't provide real autonomy to the National Social Insurance Committee.
